COURTESY VISIT BY THE CHAIRMAN NIGERIAN ELECTRICITY REGULATORY COMMISSION (NERC) TO NUPRC

The Commission Chief Executive represented by the Executive Commissioner Exploration & Acreage Management NUPRC, Ms. Rose Ndong received a delegation from NERC led by its Chairman Mr. Sanusi Garba on a courtesy visit to the Commission.

 

The visit was to explore opportunities for mutual collaboration between the two agencies in  regulating the electricity market as well as to ensure constant supply of gas to thermal plants for power generation.

 

Ms. Ndong thanked the Chairman for the visit and reassured the delegation of the Commission’s commitment in ensuring the availability of gas through the  enforcement of domestic gas supply obligations to boost industrial revolution and economic growth.
