The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) hereby issues this disclaimer, alerting the public to the activities of fraudulent individuals who peddle contract offers purportedly on behalf of the Commission.

These unscrupulous individuals, using tactics such as name-dropping and misinformation on social media to deceive members of the public, do so with the sole intention of extorting money from them and are hereby warned to desist from such acts.

To set the record straight, all contract processes at the NUPRC are done transparently and strictly in line with the Public Procurement Act, 2007 and other extant regulations

Therefore, anyone who transacts with a third party in order to gain an imaginary undue advantage within the NUPRC does so solely at their own risk.
