NIGERIAN UPSTREAM PETROLEUM REGULATORY COMMISSION CHIEF VISITS TGS AT OTC 2024

Engr Gbenga Komolafe, the Commission Chief Executive of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), led a delegation from NUPRC to visit TGS – a prominent energy data and analytics company notable for acquisition/gathering, processing, interpretation, and marketing of geophysical (seismic) data for evaluation of oil and gas formations.
The visit took place as part of the side events of the 2024 Offshore Technology Conference (OTC 2024) in Houston, Texas.

The visit by NUPRC to TGS further demonstrates the significant collaboration opportunities between the regulatory body and industry players in the Upstream Petroleum sector. Engr Gbenga Komolafe emphasized the importance of leveraging advanced data management and solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of Upstream Petroleum operations in Nigeria as part of the ongoing efforts towards building a vibrant, resilient, and sustainable Upstream Petroleum sector that benefits all stakeholders, fosters inclusive growth, and contributes to the prosperity of our nation.
