NIGERIAN UPSTREAM PETROLEUM REGULATORY COMMISSION (NUPRC) TRIUMPHS AT NOGIG 2024

The Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) soared to victory at the 19th Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games (NOGIG 2024), held at the Moshood Abiola Stadium Abuja.
NUPRC’s athletes delivered stellar performances, securing medals across multiple disciplines. Yakubu Mahmud demonstrated his prowess in the Badminton Men’s Veteran category, claiming the Silver Medal. Joining him on the podium was  Kelechi OWEI who clinched Silver in the Scrabble Women’s Division, showcasing exceptional wordplay skills.
In the Scrabble Men’s categoryNsikan Iyanam added to NUPRC’s medal haul with another Silver Medal, further highlighting the organization’s dominance in intellectual sports.
Paul Ikhide showcased his proficiency in 8 Ball pool, securing a Bronze Medal for NUPRC, while the Men’s Table Tennis team, comprising Boma AtiyegobaWasiu Aroworowon, Tijani Olamide, Isaac David and Fadil Usman, displayed remarkable teamwork to claim Bronze.
As the games concluded, NUPRC celebrates the achievements of its athletes and looks forward to continued success in future sporting events, further solidifying its position as a powerhouse in the oil and gas industry.
