The Department of Petroleum Resources led by the Director/CEO Engr Sarki Auwalu FNSChE, FNSE , DPR was part of the Ministerial team led by Chief Timipre Sylva to the one day public hearing on: “Inclusion of GasTerms in Production Sharing Contract (PSCs) and Establishment of Mechanisms to Attract Gas Investment to Grow Nigerian Economy ‘.

The event was declared open by the Hon. Speaker, House of Representatives Rt. Hon.Femi Gbajabiamila.

The Director/CEO DPR in his presentation gave a historical analysis of PSC contracts and re-emphasized the case for a review of Gas terms in PSC contracts in alignment with the aspirations of government for the development and utilisation gas in Nigeria
