Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) has successfully screened the Four Executive Commissioner designates of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) nominated by his Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari GCFR.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Upstream) Senator Albert Bassey led other Distinguished Senators during the screening exercise on Tuesday at the hallowed Chambers in Abuja. The distinguished Senator ascribed the successful screening of the nominees to their vast knowledge and years of experience in the Nigerian oil and gas industry.

 

The Executive Commissioners designates cleared at the exercise were: Dr Nuhu Habib, Executive Commissioner Development and Production, Dr Kelechi Onyekachi Ofoegbu, Executive Commissioner Economic Regulations and Strategic Planning, Capt Tonlagha Roland John Executive Commissioner Health, Safety, Environment and Community and Jide Adeola, Executive Commissioner Corporate Services and Administration.
