Tripartite Engagement Between NUPRC, Special Adviser (SA) to the President on Energy and First E&P

IN THE NEWS:

The Commission Chief Executive, Engr. Gbenga Komolafe, FNSE, hosted the Special Adviser (SA) to the President on Energy, Olu Verheijen and the First E&P at NUPRC HQ, Jabi.

In attendance was the Executive Commissioner, Development and Planning, Dr. Habib Nuhu and Executive Commissioner, Exploration & Acreage Management, Ms. Rose Ndong and other top management Staff from NUPRC,

In his opening address, the CCE expressed the deep concerns of the Energy sector and the need to fix the production issue in the Oil and gas sector. He also expressed optimism that at the end of the engagement, solutions will emerge to tackle existing problems after engaging in a robust discussion.

In her opening remark, the SA expressed the President’s goals and target on the volume of what we are expected to produce as a nation. The purpose of her visit is to ascertain the possible short term, midterm and long-term goals on our production target and NUPRC’s contribution to this target.

In his opening remark, CEO/MD of First E&P, Ademola Adeyemi-Bero highlighted some of the key achievement that has been attained in the sector and applauded the contributions of NUPRC Staff in this achievement.
